* Precautions for Use
Do not use in the microwave or dishwasher. This item is porcelain decorated with gold accents (overglaze gold). In the microwave, the gold accents may spark, discolor, or peel off. In the dishwasher or dish dryer, the high temperatures, detergents, and contact with other dishes may damage the gold accents. Please be sure to wash by hand.

When washing, use a neutral detergent and a soft sponge, and do not scrub the gold-decorated areas vigorously.
Do not place over direct flame, in an oven, or on a grill.
When stacking for storage, place a cloth or paper between pieces to protect the gold decoration and the rim.
Strong impacts or sudden temperature changes (such as pouring boiling water into the item and then immediately submerging it in cold water) can cause cracks or breakage.
No “sealing” is required before first use. Since porcelain is virtually non-porous, you can simply rinse it briefly before use.

目を引くのは、胴をめぐる金彩の円いフレーム。唐草（スクロール）の蔓がしなやかに絡む縁の内側には、ピンク、ブルー、イエロー、レッドの草花を束ねたブーケ文様が、絵画のように咲きひらきます。手描きの雰囲気をたたえた筆致が、量産品にはないぬくもりと格を添えます。

本体の口縁と蓋の縁には、ゆるやかな波打つスカラップの輪郭。そこを縁取る一本の金彩が、全体のシルエットを引き締めます。注ぎ口、取手の背、そしてドーム型の蓋の面には、金彩の小花と木の葉が静かに散らされ、光の角度によって表情を変えるのがこの器の醍醐味です。蓋の頂点には、宝珠型の金のつまみ。指先でそっと持ち上げる、その所作までが優雅な時間になります。

磁器ならではの、口あたりのよい注ぎ。 有田焼は磁器です。陶器のようなざらつきがなく、指先に吸い付くようになめらかな肌と、澄んだ音。熱をほどよく抱えながら、すっと切れる注ぎ口が、最後の一滴まできれいに注ぎ切ります。

電子レンジ・食器洗浄機は使用できません。 本品は金彩（上絵付けの金）を施した磁器です。電子レンジでは金彩部分が火花を散らしたり、変色・剥離するおそれがあります。食器洗浄機・食器乾燥機は、高温と洗剤、そして他の食器との接触によって金彩が傷つきます。必ず手洗いでお願いします。

洗うときは中性洗剤と柔らかいスポンジを使い、金彩部分を強くこすらないでください。
直火・オーブン・グリルにはかけないでください。
重ねて収納するときは、布や紙を挟んで金彩や口縁を保護してください。
強い衝撃や急激な温度変化（熱湯を注いだ直後に冷水につける等）は、ひび・割れの原因になります。
使い始めに「目止め」は不要です。磁器は吸水性がほとんどないため、さっと洗ってからお使いいただけます。
金彩は永久的なものではなく、長く使ううちに少しずつ擦れてまいります。それもまた、使い込んだ器の風合いとしてお楽しみください。
